LinkECU map password removal

What we can review

Upload the original LinkECU map file through the request form and choose either a free test or full recovery. We currently review .pclx, .pcl and .pclr files. Please keep the original file available: a screenshot or a changed extension cannot replace the map file itself.

We do not offer a service for locked ECU reads, and we do not make blanket promises about every LinkECU software version or model. Each request is checked manually before work begins.

Free test or full recovery

The free LinkECU test can confirm that the file is reviewable and returns a partial password result where available. It is useful when you want evidence before arranging the full job. Full recovery is $100 USD per map. We email cryptocurrency payment instructions when the recovered map is ready and arrange delivery personally.

Choose the free test if you want to see a limited result before deciding on a full recovery. Both options start with an individual review of your file.

What you receive

For a completed recovery, you receive a separate copy of your submitted map in the same file format, with its password protection removed. The goal is to preserve the calibration content so you can continue working with the map you supplied. Keep your original archived separately until you have opened and checked the returned copy in your own normal workflow.

There is no fixed turnaround or success guarantee because each file is handled manually. You will receive an email confirmation with a reference number after submission, followed by a reply from support as the request is reviewed.

Before you submit

• Submit only a file you own or are authorized to handle.
• Use an email address where support can reach you about the request.
• Leave the original filename and extension intact.
• Use the notes field for relevant context, such as whether this is your own vehicle or a workshop-managed calibration.
