Activation codes apply to the ECU or product
An activation-code question concerns product activation, not the password embedded in a map file. For Link ECU activation-code information, use the manufacturer’s official unlock-code page. UnlockMyMap does not provide ECU activation codes or replace the manufacturer’s support process.
Map passwords apply to one submitted file
UnlockMyMap handles manual review of supported original map files where a map password is the problem. Current formats are LinkECU .pclx, .pcl and .pclr, plus Haltech NSP .nexmap. This is not a service for locked ECU reads or files converted into a different format. The original map must be available and you must be authorized to request work on it.
Choose the right next step
If you need a product activation code, contact the relevant manufacturer or follow its official process. Full map recovery is $100 USD per map when a manual review can proceed; free tests provide a partial LinkECU password result or Haltech engine-configuration details, depending on the file. Keep your source file and its original extension unchanged throughout the request.
